DO NOT BABY THE CAR FOR BREAK IN. You'll do more harm than good.
The only real thing to follow when breaking in a new engine is not to run the engine at a steady RPM for an extended period of time. For instance, if you are taking a highway trip, every 15 minutes you should dip down into 4th and run there for a few minutes, then back into 5th.
What you are trying to accomplish is to heat and cool the piston rings. Running at a steady RPM or failing to run at all at high RPM will not accomplish that at all.
Granted, you shouldn't be hammering the car from idle to redline for every shift either for, say, the first 1000 miles. But don't be afraid to drive it.
Of course, it's always a good idea to change the oil and (especially) the filter after 1000 miles.
And finally, follow the manufacturer's instructions on breaking in the new clutch.

I agree with PA, but a major difference on the clutch break in though. Those things need to be babied more than the engine does. Not at a steady pace though, as he mentioned. Drive like your right foot has a twitch. Don't hold a steady pace at all. Go up and down by 5-10 MPH constantly on the highway and try to do more city driving than anything. As far as an engine is concerned... let it heat up once, then cool down and change the oil. Then... refill and HAMMER IT!!! Break 'em in hard, they run hard is my motto!

So what kind of engine build-up did you do? You know, little details like heads, valves, cams, exhaust, clutch and stuff. warmonger

166 HP with a straight 3L swap at the wheels, providing the stock exhaust can flow the same as the one in the Taurus does. 200 - 17% = 166.

No, that's 17% known loss on a MTX straight swap to reach 160... ATX loses 25-27% from what I've seen. 200-27%=146
