My dash has been on order for 5 months and I was wondering how long did you have to wait before your dash came in? Five months just seems a little too long for a part to be on order.

3 days. Took car to dealer for unrelated problem on a Sunday night(after they closed) with no appointment. decided to have them check the dash while it was in there. Picked up car on Wednesday, and they had replaced it. laugh

I took my car into the dealer in August with dash warp. A week later I got the recall notice. 3 months later a new dash came in. I took my car in, picked it up in the evening, and started to drive off when I happened to look at the dash....IT WAS THE SAME DASH!!! eek eek
They didn't do anything to it...I went back in to ask about it, and was told that the dash they got in was the wrong color, so they had to re-order. They didn't even bother to tell me! Last week my dash came in, so we're looking better, but the experience scarred me!!!! Bad service= frown

I took my dash in under the 36000 mile warranty first...replaced it the same day...

Then I took it in under the recall due to the warping of the dash put in under the 36000 mile warranty..it took nearly a month to get it in...So I take the car in and expect to pick it up all nice and unwarped and my service manager tells me that the dash they recieved had a big gash in it...

So, another month passes and here comes the second replacement under the warranty. Got it in, and the only problem I have with it is the glovebox squeaks a little. Will be having them realign the door next oil change...
