I just got some 18's and am going to be running 225/40/18's on them. I want to use the roush springs to lower it just a bit. Do you guys think I am gonna rub at all or will this setup be ok.

Also, How bad is it to run these springs on stock struts.

Do everything in your power to replace with new struts, unless you don't mind taking the suspension apart again to replace them when they prematurely wear out.

I have replaced my struts with ST200 from BAT. I need to get my car aligned now but it rides very well.

How long could i last with my stock struts before I would have to replace them? I have only 33 thousand miles on my car so far. also arent the st200 pretty much the same as the stock svt struts?

No theres a difference. The ST200 give a firmer ride for better handling I believe. If you only have 33K you should be fine. The Roush springs were designed to use the Cougars stock struts.

Your struts should last quiet a while cause I know that mine have got 96K on them now and they just started to go bad and I put a set of intrax springs on my stock struts.

OH ya by the way I am running 225/40/18's on my car and I think after the springs settled the Intrax springs are lower than the roush ones. I am not positive on that one but I think they are.

At what point did you put on the springs?
