Anyone know if "bradleycougar" is still around or where he went? According to his web site, he had some front strut tower braces custom-made for the Cougar (they fit Contour's too). I found some info in the old forums (here), but haven't been able to get in touch with him. Any old timers know about this? I'm continuing my quest for a better front STB...

Have you checked out http://www.ompwins.com yet. They sell the Strut tower Brace for $99+Shipping and handling.
I just finished installing mine and could tell the difference right away.
I read up on this one and the one from Sho Shop and found this one to be better. People were complaining about the Sho Shop bar busting shocks.
Check out the web site and give them a call, the guy that took my order was awesome, and I had it before Christmas.

I ordered the OMP and tried to make it fit right - but I just wasn't comfortable with how far I had to bend/move/pry the AC line (see this thread) - it felt like it would leave a lot of stress on it. Maybe the AC line position varies slight car to car, cause I know a lot of folks are using & are happy with the OMP unit.

Received a reply from Random Technology - they still do make the braces. I'm in the process of gathering more info and will post again when I have it.
