i got my silver zx3 last saturday. The 1 year lease was up on the mazda protege 5 so i got a focus because it was cheaper. Overall im pretty satisfied with the focus. Fit and finish seems to be really good and was really surprised by some of the options like the automatic door locks and the shift light for good gas mileage

Drive one, it feels like 103 hp at the flywheel Seriously this is the slowest car I've ever driven, my 82 Jetta completely spanks it, probably doesn't help that I have a 200lb box in the hatch either. Not to worry in 4 years I will be out of warranty and can drop a V8 kit into the car (there is a motor mount available for the 390hp Cobra engine already) Mmmmm.... 390hp Focus.... oh wait, I wouldn't have the plugged exhaust, and would more than likely have a new pulley for the SC... mmmm... more than 390hp Focus... Either that or I fabricate motor mounts for a Chevy LS1 (or whatever they have out by then) and throw a couple turbos on it... mmmm 700hp Focus wrapped around a telephone poll after 10 minutes...

HOLY CRAP!!! I did the EXACT same ram air thing when I had my probe (dryer duct) I used a dryer vent for the intake though. only problem is the dryer duct is crap and cracks after a month or so. good stereo though, I like the flat speakers on the kick panel idea.

My dryer duct has been on for 8 months now! No signs of wear but still I'm thinking of replacing it with some Poly tubing. All these ridges can't behelping airflow too much, and it would look way less ghetto
