I'm thinking about buying leather seats for my 98 non-svt tour, but the driver's seat I was going to buy is power and the seat I have now isn't. I saw a harness under my seat but I think it might just be for the seatbelt. When I install the seat how would I get the power to work....thanks....and I did search for this, probably not good enough though....

If you have a harness under your seat, chances are that it is for power seats. Ford is dumb that way, basically a car with no options has all the wiring for the options, all you need to do is buy it and hook it up!

wiring might be there for the right-hand-drive cars that would have power driver's seat, but I haven't looked.

There are 2 wiring harnesses under the driver's seat. One is for the seatbelt, this one should be connected to something, umm the seatbelt maybe hehe, and the other one, that isn't connected to anything that is just "there" is the one for the power seat.
