I'm having problems with my current stock brake pads. I wash her, and 3 days later, my rims are pretty much black. I've been lookin at some on "Tire Rack", I think their called "green stuff" or something like that? How do those rank in the market? If not , any other ideas?

I've used the EBC Greenstuff pads before - I got 7000km out of them (by comparison, the replacement Ferodo pads had 35000km on them when I wrote the car off). The GreenStuff pads made more brake dust than normal pads, but it was easier to clean off.
I found the GS had more initial "bite", but the actual braking distances seemed no better - and they chewed discs.

so pretty much whatever type of brake pad I end up getting, there will be some substantial brake dust?! And if they don't spray dust, they chew through my discs?

I like the Mintex the best of all the ones I've tried. I found that low dust equals less braking power. Went through 4 other brands before trying them. I rather have brakes that will stand the car on its nose and dirty rims than clean rims and poor brakes. Mintex are not as dirty as the OEM pads. I think they have a better chemical composition that keeps the dust from adhering to the rims.

It also helps to not overdo tire dressing. The silicon tire dressing material is like a brake dust magnet so use tire dressing sparingly. It helps to apply the tire dressing with a sponge rather than with a sprayer. Any of it that gets onto or stays on the wheel will attract brake dust. Just wiping off the wheel is not enough. You need to keep it off the wheel in the first place.

The Titanium Bendix from Stazi work great (better than stock) and hardly dust at all! And they are cheaper than Mintex AF, and perform better IMHO.
