I'm working on doing the same thing next year if finances permit it. I'm removing the passenger side Airbag to integrate the LCD screen. (yes, it's illegal...)

I don't like airbags. I'd rather have racing harness and racing seat to prevent me from slamming into the steering column in the first place.
