Check your fuses. If the fuse is good, your dimmer switch could be bad. I had an 88 nissan Sentra and I didn't have any dash lights for about 3 weeks and I called the dealer and they said that it could be the dimmer switch. so, I went to the junkyard that day and picked up one and put it in and I got my illumination back. Also it could be a bad wire.

Yeah my mystique did the same exact thing. It was the dimmer switch at fault, so like the other guy said go to a junkyard and get yourself another...!

i know it's not my dimmer switch because i can adjust it and when it's all the way on, my interior light goes on. so does that lean towards a fuse problem? i'm stuck for ideas!

Check to see if your parking lights are in-op too. In another thread they talk about the connector being bad/dirty on the back of the light switch.
