The seat back on the stock driver's side seat seems to recline slightly on it's own. I have to turn the knob approximately 1/8 turn about once a day to keep it where I want it. Not a big deal, but a little annoying. Is there an easy way to tighten this up? (I haven't taken a close look yet, since it's getting cold here in WI and I was hoping for any suggestions that will minimize my exposure.)

I have the same thing happening to me, but on both seats, and not all the time... Maybe it depends on the harshness of the roads I'm driving on...

At first I thought one of my kids was playing with it, but since I'm now separated, the kids aren't there that much, and it's still happening..

it's obvious that all you contour owners with seat problems are very heavy set people..... kidding, just Ford's cheap parts wearing out.

I thought I was the only one with this problem. The turning knob set-up is a bad design. I noticed my seat adjusted wrong friday .

Kremit, i prob. eat steaks bigger than you! It's just that some of us probably work out more than we sit online (read as: 2000 plus posts?!), and have a little more trouble "sqeezing" into the seats of these extraordinarily roomy cars! j/k Just bustin' your ballz man. Don't hate.
