well, im getting a horrible rattling noise out of my pacesetter exhaust. Im pretty sure its a bad muffler, and was prob gonan just have a new muffler welded in its place. I dont' want the new muffler to be any louder than the pacesetter that i have since i've got my precats gutted. What would anyone suggest i get to replace it? I heard borla is the quietest, but don't know how it would sound without getting their whole system. Thanks for any input

I have a Borla on my car with the MSDS headers and the sho shop Y pipe and my car is loud as hell when you get on it. The only time it has a nice mellow sound to it is when I am sitting there at an idle.(there are no cats on my system at all though) hehehe They fell off.
