Just curious, what are the highest HP results on a contique? 2L/3L, Turbo/SC all mods count.

I think World Tour temporarily holds that title at 297. I think I have highest torque so far at 265.

fwiw, worldtour is quite past the 300 wheel hp mark, however it seems as if he is doomed to not get a real dyno run in ever again, he has tried on multiple occasions, and odd circumstances have prevented a good pull every time.

Even if you don't have the answer, you certainly have to admire the problem.

Strongest 3L N/A is David Zs old motor with the touring car 2.5L heads/cams..now in a cougar (jjennings) making about 250 FWHP and 220+ torque IIRC.
Strongest 2.5 N/A is probably Demon SVT who made 187 FWHP before his headers/extra UIM porting/secondaries removal...he picked up over 2 MPH trap speed with these additions suggesting he is close to 200 FWHP (all bolt ons/no internal work). Stll more to do too..true duals, electric H2O pump, bigger injectors, light flywheel, more tuning etc. I would bet that 205-210 FWHP (250 crank HP or 100HP/L) possible without cracking the motor!!
We are not counting pure race cars here BTW..

Yeah at SZ I put down 275fwhp with a pretty noticable miss under boost. I've put down over 300 on two seperate occasions, but mechanical gremlins seemed to step in before I could back the pulls up. Oh well, there is always this spring to try again... -Mark
