Hi all. Quick question for y'all. Does anyone have a slight whistling sound coming under the hood (air filter perhaps) when around 4k-5k rpm? I only notice it when I'm accelerating. I'm not sure if this is typical for the SVT or if it's just my car. I never had this problem with my SE. Any hints/suggestions would be great! Thanks gang!

The only thing I can think of, and prolly what others will tell you is that it is probably moosing...but then again it is happening while you are accelerating, usually moosing happens durring idle, so I dunno.
check under mods for "Throttle Hang fix"

I have a whistling sound and it is coming from my windshield wipers (very annoying). So next time if you hear it, turn on the windshield wipers and see if it stops.

It's definitely not from the windshield wipers. Thanks for the suggestion though. I'm sure it's coming from under the hood...I'm pretty sure it's an air filter thing. I'm going to put in a K&N when I get back to the cities this coming weekend. Hopefully that fixes it.

The poor little thing's getting an engine block heater too so it doesn't freeze to death in Nort' Dakota! lol

Yeah, it's moosing. Same thing happened to my car when I got the SVT goodies. Preform the TH fix and you'll be good to go.
