Damn the bad luck huh. My svt just hit 34kmiles and the rear (drivers side) caliper seized up causing my brake pads to wear down to metal and damaging my rotor. Thankfully I did catch it and was able to salvage the rotor; however, my buddy said the caliper could seize up again and I would need to replace it, which could cost upwards to $400. Any advive guys? Thanks

You have to first determine what exactly siezed. It could have been the piston in the caliper, or more likely, the caliper on its slider pins. If it's just the pins, you can pull them out, clean them (if they're not damaged) and the caliper, and then relube the pins (with silicone grease made for this: high temp) and put everything back together. I would also bleed the calipers to get the old fluid out.
