Never had any problems, but for the first time today (very cold morning, I'm in Texas so cold is like 35 degrees F) the car didn't start as usual in a timly manner. I had to try and start it twice. It fired up the second time. I figured it was a combination of the TH fix and the cold weather. But no other problems other than that one time (so far)

If you use a hole too small the car will have problems holding an idle when it gets really cold. The hole I used is under 1/4" and as soon as the weather dropped below 40 degrees I started getting this problem. It only lasts for about 30 seconds & I'm not about to get the TH back so. I've just learned to work around it - 30 seconds is my minimum warm up time anyway so I'm not going anywhere anyways.

Hey, has anyone tried a slightly larger hole for cold weather? As easy and cheap is this mod is, is would be worth doing in a couple different sizes if it would help. Then just change as the season dictates--part of normal maintenance. Whaddya think?

Thats the idea, you mess with it till you find what works for you. We all live all over the country, different air temps, humidity etc. The suggested diameters are just that, suggestions.
Good luck ....

Moosing I can understand, but I never had throttle hang on my ATX. Well that's not entirely true - but when I did have a problem it was the UIM gasket. New one fixed it right up.
