Old Slow Lane is still around and still gettin' passed by the cement trucks on the Sunol Grade. 
The good old SVT is at 33k miles and still trouble free (no racing!). Bought tires at 31k (Comp TA) and averaging a sickening 28.61MPG.
I ran into a young guy with a green 99 who works at Office Max in Pleasanton. He used to be more active at CEG, but like me, real life intruded. I just quit as a Moderator on a huge Star Trek BBS, so I'll have a little more free time now. See y'all around.

hey that guy is me!
i just finished school for the semester, so now I've got some time to waste.
I got kinda pissed off with everything and stopped comin here when my car was at shamrock ford for a month and a half. you don't realize how long that is.
but its all good now. tryin to figure out if i want to throw a y-pipe on it or not.

Good to see your still around Jason, I got one final tommorow, and two the next day, then I'm done. What was wrong with your car again? Oh yea I got a busted O2 sensor and possibly a bad pre-cat  Josh, DOES THE WOODS HAVE A LAUNDRYMAT?  I don't want to go ask those depressing piles in the main office.

Ok so whats going on... anyone Meeting up anywhere?
I see people planning things and dont know one of them.
We were the planners for these Meets, why don't I see any of your names. ha ha Ive been away also... i know.
Just funny to see others doing all the planning & meeting.
Did we wear ourselves thin or what? Maybe we just all killed our cars on these meets, ha ha.

Don't know if the newbs could keep up with us on those roads I'll be busy until after christmas, after then i'll probably be able to meet up with you guys an in-n-out, so long as all the oldies are there! But 2 of my tires are almost completely worn after 7,000 miles, I just can't keep my right foot under control, and I don't want to pay for 2 more SO3's just yet  James

i agree - the last two "Big" meets were tire killers... that's for sure! 2001 Meet2002 Meetsince i got my Yoko AVS db's - i've been polite to my tires!
