My '99 SVT suffers from the moosing problem as outlined in the FAQ. However, the FAQ does not indicate this as a problem on '99 Contours. In order to fix it, do I have to follow the same procedure, or do I already have the replacement parts as indicated in the TSB?

Thanks,
Jim

Never mind. Just read the section on the TH problem and will give that a try.

I just had mine fixed. The dealer knew exactly what it was. As soon as I said moosing noise, he said IAC. Also had the dash repair done also. Dropped the car off at 8am and had it back by 5pm the same day.

I wish that I could say that I had my car back on the same day for the dash prob. The dealer I went to had the car for three days, and got glue all over the place. Oh well it's done now. smile

The TH fix worked great and only cost $.22 I do need to visit the dealer for the dash, though.
