current car in sig. (mtx V6 '98 mystique) owe 5300 on it right now have 70k miles on it...and it's light blue ..but I want an SVT.... but I could have my current loan paid off in 2 years at this rate and if I get an SVT I'll start over again w/ an 8k new loan and 4 more years of payments See, this is what's goin' through my head. Help me out. Tell me why I maybe don't want to buy an SVT. Thanks

Well why don't you check into the rates for a loan and see what it comes out to, i was able to refinance my loan down to 5.9% from 81/2%..... So i'm saving over a grand and i now only have 3 years I KNOW it sounds like a lot but i'm saving alot to. P.S. I love my SVT

maybe I need to drive one first. I've never driven one before. I've had a 96 SE MTX before so I know contours and mystiques, but what's the real dif when you move up to the SVT. Right now I just like the looks a whole lot more than my light blue mercury mystique w/ a few dents and dings. My car's fully loaded. Every single, and I mean every, option came with this one, 'cept for the auto tranny. Problem is, they are hard to come by.

Think of how many performance mods you could add to your Mystique with 2 years of payments and think of how much faster you'll be than the SVT's. 8) (Someone's gotta help him out. )

As was already stated with a few mods you can run with the SVT without everyone and there brother wanting to race you. When I test drove it I had someone try to race me with the dealer sitting in the car.

By the time you pay off your Mystique, you'll have a heck of a time finding an SVT probably.. Just do it, and don't look back.. It's a wild ride!
