Yes a 75 dry shot has been run before. That would be the limit I would take a dry system.
Make sure to get some proper tuning!

Not to be a prick, but how many times has this questions been asked?????

1)people have run up to 100hp shot on a dry system.
2)NOS recommends you gap STANDARD plugs at .035.

Yes a/f gauge is a must i'd say, and if you want to be really safe, fuel pressure gauge too. I'm sure you probably could go 125, but IMO that would be pushing it on a dry kit. I ran about a 90 hp shot on a wet kit. and i have a/f gauge as well.
