Just thought I'd chime in and tell all how excited I am about next monday. Dropin my '99 SVT off at SHO-SHOP to get it done. Now I can tear the old engine down and see if FORD was right about me running too lean with my chip and damaging all the pistons....hahaha! Stealerships...gotta love'um!

How much is it going to cost and how long for the install?

I'm up in Oregon and if I get it done that's where I'll be going.

Thanks

SWEET! I'm supposed to be dropping off my car tomorrow (12/9/02)....I'm also having them put in their UIM/LIM, clutch/lightened flywheel, and my Quaife I've been sitting on for over three months. My biggest problem is that I took a set of heads that Vadim had and I'm having them ported and polished, but they're not back from the porting guy, so maybe my car will not be dropped off and finished this week....

As for the lean condition, I read that Superchips leans out the mixture, and guess what, my car detonates at lower rpm's..so I can't wait to see what my pistons look like with over three years of driving with my chip.

dion 98 SVT, 200 whp/190 lb. ft tq (tuned by ADC), 3.0, P&P heads w/2.5L valves, optimized TB, MSDS, SCA 2.5" catback, SHOshop UIM/LIM, underdrive pulley set, TD's, Koni/H&R, BAER/TCE, Progress, CF1 products
