OP artwork New CEG\'er A Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 10 Ohio, Mansfield	My 1996 tour is stuck in park, I hear the click when I step on the brake but it just won't release for me, I've checked the floor mat to see if it was in the way of the peddle but before I start tinkering with it I thought I'd check and see if anyone else has had this problem or might know the fix!! HELP PLEASE Becouse I'm stuck at work with this prob. witch is like hell! haha At least I have Net service while I work.. 1996 Ford Contour GL 1993 Ford Taurus(For Sale$1000)

OP artwork New CEG\'er A Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 10 Ohio, Mansfield	1996 2.5z auto, I pushed on the brake peddle really hard with both feet and got it to move out of park but it doesn't wan't to very easy it sounds like something is catching in the shifter,only 60,000mi on this car and it gets babied and kept in a garage, and i punish my eagle talon and i can't break it, go figure! Well I'll check the fuse and go from there 1996 Ford Contour GL 1993 Ford Taurus(For Sale$1000)
