Does anyone know where the tire iron in a post 98 mystique is stored at. I removed it for a flat I had and now I don't remember where it goes. Thanks.

Sorry to hear about your flat. I have a 99 Countour and the iron just lays in under the tire next to the jack. There is nothing to lock it down. Don't know if this is the same on the Mystique and hopefully this is helpful to you.

While we're on this subject... how do you put the [censored] spare back in?! I've tried for hours and many beers (exaggerated) and still can't get it to fit without the carpet bulging! Is there a specific order? Thanks in advance... "i need a beer!"

Our Tyre Iron is mounted on top of the Jack under the spare wheel it is held in place by the long threaded hook like bolt.

You are not alone. I tried several times and I finally gave up.
