hmmm, makes me wonder if they would import it sans engine as a kit car, so a US customer could "build" it here, and be able to register it much easier . . .

seems like it would be alot faster than it really is by the looks...not that its slow but still

faster as in what? top speed? Simply a gearing choice. I'm betting they do use the MTX-75, and simply don't bother changing the gearing. And w/ the car so much lighter than a contour, the durability concerns are probably much less as well.

As far as how quick, a 4.2 sec. 0-60 is nothing to sneeze at, in fact, there are only a handful of cars in the world that can better that by any significant amount, and I would be willing to bet not a one of them can be had for less than $100k

I love the M12! I'd take it over a Porsche simply to be unique and right hand drive in the states is awesome!

Those headlights still bother me. I have the feeling that during the night, it's like driving with two mag lights taped to the hood.

Nifty ride though, and I hope they swapped out the water pumps
