Help me!!! It's freaking winter here in canada and when I finish driving for a bit and park for a long period of time, I start to notice that my rear end starts to drag and i've even had people tell me that my rear right tire isn't moving. Is there something I can do to adjust this, if so is it easy???

Yup. Caliper piston seized. Happened to me this morning (~9 degrees, ice, snow). Dragged the right rear on the snow for a bit 'till I realized what was happening and the ABS light came on. Got it free by rocking forward/back a few times. Left side not too good either. Ebrake is not hanging up. Nothing to adjust - time for new calipers. Picked up new rotors and loaded remanufactured calipers (definitely the way to go, new hardware, pins, mounting frame) - paid $434 with a $160 core for the calipers. Final cost will be $274. Gotta drag out the salamander heater for the garage and do it tomorrow. Now I got an excuse to install the speed bleeders and bleed/flush with SuperBlue. Stay tuned. AL

May be just the E-brake cable. Once they start sticking they need replacement. Take the sticking wheel off and see if the lever moves easily. Then have someone engage and disengage the E-brake. If it does'nt move back all the way by itself, the cable is probably rusted. No fun to replace in the cold.

same here my ebrake wont get loose, i stood in my parking lot for 1\2 hour waiting for the ebrake to defrost. but does this mess up the rear brakes or just the ebrake. cuz i dont want my car to not stop from the lines all being frozen. i just keep the ebrake down and keep it in gear while parked untill i could get the stainless steel brake lines!
duck tape does it all

Just finished. The piston in right rear caliper was seized. Left wasn't much better. Installed the speed bleeders flushed with Super Blue. All better.

You may have this problem, TSB 97-5-2, which was later updated to 98-5A-17. If you do, here is a little FAQ on the Parking Brake, or try this detailed text on the Retrofit. It doesn't take too long to do, and you don't need and special knowledge or tools to complete this. I did it on my own and haven't had a problem since. The Retrofit Kit Part Number is F6RZ-2A635-AA

Do you remember how much the retrofit kit cost? The dealer told me $52.27 and I just wanted to confirm that.

I don't remember exactly, but you may want to call a couple of dealers and find out what they say.
I'll look to see if I still have the reciept.
Also, you may want to try Bill Jenkins and see what he can get it for, if you're not in a huge hurry.

EDIT: I paid $48.22 for the kit.

I have a ghetto fix for this. The conventional wisdom is you need to install an upgraded parking brake mechanism. Bah. That costs money.
What I did last winter and which is still intact and working today is to cover each parking brake mechanism assembly with a carefully trimmed zip-loc bag, sealed tight with duct tape.
Don't laugh. It works.

That may work to prevent stuff from getting inside the cable, but the kit includes upgraded caliper release springs that release the parking brake. I can't imagine the Zip-Lock bag mechanism would do that.
