Trouble code P1151 according to my Chiltons:

P1151: Lack of upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S 2 1) switch, sensor indicates lean (Bank #2)

fordpartsonline.com is the best price for my Zetec. Probably be the same for the Duratec too. Too bad I found it after I changed mine.

I am unsure on which side of the engine is bank #2 on a Duratec. If I had to place a guess, I would probably say the side near the firewall.

On the Zetec, there is a O2 located in the manifold directly before the cat, and one after. Not hard to find, looks like a big metal spark plug. The upstream sensor would be located (I would think) before the precat. I think someone mentioned that is is near the Y-pipe under the car.

Sorry I couldn't have been more help. frown This is a question for someone with a Duratec now.

EDIT: No P1151 is not the part number.

Whups. Exdelayed made a logical but incorrect assuption! Bank 2 is the one closest to the rad: they're numbered based on which cylinder is closest to the "front" of the engine. (that is the pass side in our crossways orientation. You're lucky, the upstream O2 sensor is in the maanifold right behind the rad. -a lot easier to replace than the one on bank one!
Good luck.

It's your o2 sensors. Replace them both and problem will dissapear, so will $$.
The problem is caused by a voltage difference across the sensor itself. This is a feedback design issue and indicates a bad sensor.
