I've come back to my people to break the bad news... I'm trading the SVT in on a soccer mom special Explorer.

The only reason that I'm doing it is because I found a 0%/60 month deal on leftover 2002's and the dealer nearest me (who's service kicks the [censored] out of anything I found in MD) had a great XLT with an indash 6 disc changer in my wife's and my favorite color.

They came way down on price and they're giving me 11500 on the trade. Basically, I'm getting it for the same monthly payment as the SVT with no other money down!

I'm going to be selling off all of the upgrades I did after I get it back to stock tomorrow. Anyone that's interested in any of this stuff can let me know at bigwalton@_removemefirst_earthlink.net

mesh grilles, all three
KKM
BAT intake pipe
Richbrook brushed aluminum/graphite shift knob
hood edge bra
Nakamichi 40z with well made wiring harnesses to plug into all factory plugs without cutting

I think that's it. I hate to do this, but the deal is too damn sweet to pass up. If it counts for anything, I am thinking about lowering the XLT and putting some nice street rubber on it (it's only 2WD).

Hope all is well up there in now sniper-free land.

Andy W. The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

I can't blame you for not passing up a deal like that. Good luck with it!

The baby seat is in the cards in the nearish future, but nothing for sure yet. I'll let y'all know when there's something to congratulate me on. It's something that I had hoped would work with the SVT, but the addition of a second, bigger dog has sort of shot that down... I also can't stand the idea of my dogs' claws on the leather, so I've never allowed that to happen and it's going to have to end sometime...

Basically it's come to having to do what I know is right rather than what I want to do. Sucks like that, but I've had a great time with her and I can always dream of getting her back sometime down the road. I really wanted to keep her forever and not have to trade her in, that's part of why I worked so hard to keep her in such good shape. I was going to pay her off and save enough for a down payment on my next ride withough the trade... oh well. [censored] happens.

It really hurt to strip out all of the things I've done to her today, she's back to bone stock except for the removed dingies and the sidemarkers. Look for me to post everything in the classifieds tomorrow. Andy already spoke up on the bra and the BAT pipe...

I'll poke my head in from time to time to keep tabs on you folks. Guess this means there won't be a road trip down here in the spring now...
