This morning was the first cold day that i tried to start my 96 v6 atx. I had to crank it for a LONG time, then it started (roughly). After it warmed up, it was fine, no CEL, shut it down restarted fine. I suspect fuel delivery, maybe pump or even just filter. Are there any known issues?. The car has 105k mi and runs great.

Thanks,
Scott

128K on mine and it generally starts cold without touching the gas. A clean fuel filter wouldn't hurt anything and is cheap easy insurance against burning up a fuel pump. Worn plugs will also cause hard starting of a cold engine.

Replaced the fuel filter Saturday.
No problems since then.
Started instantly this AM (15 deg F)
Thanks!
