Can anyone recommend anyplace in the metro area that is good with SVT and probably more importantly is good about doing warranty work? I have some things to get done before the warranty expires that are hard to duplicate and a decent service department would be a benefit.
Also, any place I should avoid?

I would reccommend that you see a dealer the sells SVT cars to begin with. I hate it when I go to a shop and they try to put crap on your car that is suppose to go on a regular 'tour. They don't know what they're doing 'cause they never see any SVT's. Don't go to Tousley either, I've heard and had bad experiences there, I'd say Apple Valley if it was me. Good Luck.

p.s. Do you drive the Black SVT with the missing center caps? I saw one on 35 a while back.

I used to work for morries mtka ford, off of 394 by ridgedale if you can wait till friday I will call up there and speak to either dai vu who is the service dispacher or john aretz who is the service director and have them help you out. Just do me a favor and let me know if youre intrested

DON'T go to Apple Valley Ford! When they see that your warrenty is expiring they will jerk you around in the hope that your warrenty will expire before they have to do any work. This is not an opinion, this is my experience! And I bought my car from them! They will tell you that they are unable to duplicate the problem even if you come in with the rear axle hanging out the back and you tell them the car handles funny!
I offered to take one of their tech people for a ride and demonstrate the problem and they told me no that their insurance wouldn't allow that.
I did have good luck with Freeway Ford in Bloomington but I don't know if they are an SVT dealer.

I've heard good things about american ford from some of the SVT people hear. Otherwise for regular ford places, Brookdale Ford has been the best experience for me. Friendly "small town" service and they don't seem to jerk ya around too much.

I would start with a SVT dealer and then work my way through that.

About the warranty going out, if you have already made a claim on it at a dealership and they duplicate it or they don't, if it breaks a bit out of warranty, it will be covered(or should be, so says my Ford rep.).

I know it may be a bit of a drive but I always had good luck with my last 'Tour at the dealership in Fridley and at Monticello Ford.

Dont take it to STillwater Ford they will jerk you around like they did to me! they had my car forever for a stupid fuse!

Yes! Stillwater Ford is the worst dealer in the cities. I brang my car there earlier this year to have them check my ac, and they told me to convert my R12 system to R134a. Darn idiots.
