OP e0svt_dup1 New CEG\'er E Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 31 Apex, NC	I just picked up the OMP front strut tower brace - very nice unit for $90. I'm having a hard time getting it installed - I've searched the forums and folks have said they moved/bent the AC line out of the way. It seems like you would have to move/bend it an awful lot to make the bar fit and I'd rather not bust my AC! Any suggestions? '98 Silver SVT my story

The A/C line just need to be moved forward and the bar pressed in behind it & in front of the plastic cowl. I had to bend nothing. 2000 SVT #674 13.47 @ 102 - All Motor! It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.

I got it on and positioned correctly, but I ended up not bolting it on. I just wasn't comfortable with the amount of pressure being put on the AC line. I would have been OK with just moving it slightly, but I really had to yank on it to get the strut tower bar between it and the cowl. I'll keep looking for one that fits OK...
