Did this happen while it was raining? This has happened on my car while driving through a big puddle recently. If it wasn't raining, then my guess would be a short somewhere. Check all of your wiring. You can do also try wiggle test while the engine is running: grab each wire and wiggle it gently. If there is a short, then it should stall the car when you wiggle the bad wire. Just be careful of moving parts
