I posted it in the "1/4 mile time for a Stock SE
The run was on the 20th at Orlando Speedworld
Here are the times.
R/T... .850
60'... 2.388
330... 6.907
1/8... 10.547
MPH... 67.95
1000... 13.668
1/4... 16.319
MPH... 84.96

The next run I ran 16.364 @ 84.78 w/ a shitty 2.440 60 foot.

My previous best time was 16.522 the Friday earlier. As I said before the only change was that I took out the back seat.

advocate, I don't know about the downgrade or anything, but it was pretty cool that night.

k. now id really like to see a vid, thats pretty damn quick for a stock atx. my car isnt stock but there is no way i ran close to 16.3 last time i went. your time is exactly what i hit with my gtech consistantly. here was my last track appearance with my big hefty 17's on....

r/t... .630
60.... 2.580
330... 7.271
1/8... 11.170
mph... 63.500
1000.. 14.501
1/4... 17.324
mph... 79.610

now if that doesn't embarrass me i dont know what else does.
there has to be something wrong with my car, it does seem slow, sounds great, but doesnt move. after winter maybe ill go with an svt upper/lower, TB and a custom tuned chip...

The glaring thing I see is your 60' time. Once you get that down and it stays down, your ETs will come down too. You should also try to drop some weight. Run w/ a 1/4 tank take out the spare and maybe take out a seat or two.

Most of my 60 times are in the 2.4-2.5 range and all of those ETs are 16.62x. Looking at my last run, the one w/ a 2.440 60', I'm thinking I should be able to hit a 16.2 the way the car is now. My ET was only 5 hundreths slower, and my launch was a tenth worse.

my starts seem ok, but my car lays down till like 4500 rpm. i launch at about 2650 rpm. My car is really lacking the power down low, im oging to get my y-pipe optimized then maybe cut the precats.

that was my first time at the track tho, and my car was running bad. first run my rpm stuck at 6200 rpm in 1st gear, and wouldnt move, didnt shift for a second, then screachd into 2nd gear. pretty scary. was part way thru 2nd gear at the end of the run.

next year we will see. hoping for mid-low 16's.

That's an excellent 60-foot time... I've never had one that low... best ever was 2.408.

The fastest I've ever seen from a stock ATX was a Cougar running 16.68. But then again, your LX could well be lighter and have smaller rims than some of the Cougars and SE's that we typically hear about racing.

This was my fastest... with the mods you see below EXCEPT the SVT UIM and 2.5-inch catalytic test-pipe. I should be running 15.7-ish now.

R/T.... 1.174
60'.... 2.442
330.... 6.791
1/8.... 10.332
MPH.... 70.42
1000.... 13.345
1/4.... 15.932
MPH.... 86.97
