Up until their demise. 3.8 came stock in the V6 Models. My last car was a 97 SS. And I agree , plastics on chevys just love to fall apart and rattle. I Loved the car, but by 80,000 Miles, problems became too much. Glad to have the tour.

When the new F-Body came out in 1993, the 3400 was standard, 3800 was optional, and the LT1 was on V8 models. After 1998, the 3800 was standard, and the LS1 was used. My cousins is a 1994 3800 V6 T-Tops. BRIGHT red. The engine has since blown, put in a new engine (still wont tell me what kind) and a new exhaust kit that sounds like horny bumble bees in a pepsi can, I have SO lost my respect for that car..and that cousin, who's a nerd anyway...

those type of cars need to sound powerful like a Mustang GT

I like the hood that was posted and has since emailed him for more pics and possibly more information, if any. I would do it! I think that the SS hood looks pimp! If I am correct www.andysautosport.com has piece that you can add on to your hood. You will have to look around. Last time I checked it was universal. I might be taking a fake one and making an intake inlet out of it. Kinda low profile.

The SS hood, looks very good on the Contour... Gives it a nice aggressive look without over doing it... Nice job, to who ever made that...
