I was going to buy roush springs but then had a thought. Yes the springs fit fine and lower the car nicely(even though i have seen a couple pictures with the rear sagging dramatically). But the front to rear weight ratios from the contour to cougar arent exactly the same. They might be off by a couple hundred pounds. I wouldnt think this would be very good handling wise. For the price maybe but I wouldnt think saving for eibachs or H&R's would be better since they are specifically designed for each model.

Ordered springs yesterday and guess what I got today? You got it. 1 nice set of Roush Performance springs. I am sure that it has nothing to do with the fact that I live 10-15 minutes from their warehouse.

I could have had my Roush springs installed with the ST200 struts if UPS had of delivered the springs to me. I now have to call BAT monday and get them to trace the package. I dislike UPS they can't do anything right.

For everybody's information the ST 200 struts are supposed to be set for a 1" drop on a CSVT so it will be probably better than the stock ones!
annyone have any experience or felling with them?

if you can spent 300 for struts just get better ones

and for us pre98 tours if we get the roush springs we got to get 98 and up struts.

being the bargain hunter that I am I quickly ordered the springs and going to put them on my stock struts till they blew or I won the lottery.

then I remembered the pre/post thing so ST200 strut deal to the rescue I just wish would of got them when they were 99 bucks but now I got 2 free rear bump stoppers and I paid 50 bucks more.
