Well I would like to thank everyone for the turn ont we had and specially those who drove three house to come. I was wondering if we had the interest of getting a "team" or "club" together? If was an idea that came up while we talking at the first meet we had at the bay. It would be something that we could all enjoy and help each other out with mods and our own experiences with our own cars. It is not about what you can offer to the group (past experience, if you had nothing to offer you were no good to the group ) but the enjoyment of hanging out with fellow car owners on a nice Sunday afternoon. If you are interested post here and we can see what kind of responce we get. If there is interest we are gonna need a name. Here are some thoughts.

1) team X-Con (eXtreme CONtour) Not cougar and mystique friendly but is a cool name. (Mental Case idea)

2) Team CDW27 not alot of people would understand but covers all cars in our group.

3) Team CEG

Just some ideas if there is interest.

You know im down,,we need to get this going right. Names are gonna be difficult, we have to think of the non- contour folks.My roommate says he can get us a hook up on stickers for cheap. Just coming up with a name so when we hit the Q the next time,,we can represent,,,W00T!!!
Another question,,will we allow non contours and mystiques, like cougars and etc in the crew.

Just some of my suggestions,,o yea,,i removed all my decals and the yellow stripes that were on both sides of the car.I replaced the (SE) fender decals with the taurus (24 dohc) decals. I like it now,,lol. Next i do the front grille and that rear Ford emblem off the trunk,,need help with that one if some one can tell me how to remove it and where to buy new one,,would really like to know,,,thx

I'm down. I kinda like X-Con, not bad! That was a nice turn out, I'm glad i had a chance to be a part of. definetly should take this further......

my 2cents no names with the wrod race,racing..nothing associating us with street racing or HONDAS!!

I agree we should try to leave out the word racing. People like to sterotype and I don't want that associated with us.

It was my pleasure to come down and meet up with everybody! It was a good experince. I am looking forward to seeing how the pics turned out.

I should make it known that I am already in another crew from my area, we are just keeping ourselves on the low down till all our cars are in better shape, but I am up for taking this one step farther with the contours. I think the X-Con and anything with the end being racing just doesn't sound right. Both would get us messed with in the wrong ways, trust me I have been there. I am previoulsy from a club called RedLine and we had nothing but probs mostly from the cops and stupid rice rockets. As far as other names are concerned im at a loss right now. Was the decission made about letting in other cars like the cougar? That makes a big impact on the name choices. Well untill later.
