When I take my 2000 CSVT out of storage in spring I'm going to need to buy new tires. They have 21,000 miles on them but the last time I had them rotated and balanced they said the tires had excessive road force and could barely be balanced. A week before I stored it away a major vibration showed up at highway speeds, so when I get the car back I'm going straight to the shop/tire dealer.

I have the stock rims and do not want to buy different rims. I've been searching everywhere online (including tirerack) and can't find any 215/50ZR16 tires besides the stock BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW tires. Does anyone know of any other tires besides these in 215/50ZR16? I don't need all-season tires since these will only be used in summer.

Am I correct in thinking that if I get 225/50ZR16 or 225/45ZR16 tires that my spedometer will be off and that the tires may rub? I really don't want to deal with any of this. If any of these tires don't rub, are there places (like a tire dealer) that adjust your spedometer according to the new tire size?
