Hey guys I'm station in germany now but I'll be going to New Mexico in February. I could buy a few DMD's and put them in my stuff so I could pretty much bring as many as I want with no import charge. I'm just trying to get an idea of how many people will be interested in one to know how many to buy. Last time I checked they were like 85 euros, so the price will be around there.

New to Contour stuff, and new to the site, forgive me for asking what a DMD is? My son is in Korea (has a Contour SVT) and may like something for his car.

Dual Mode Damper. Without it, the stock engine suffers from crank whip at high rpm since the stock damper is not designed properly. The DMD will significantly reduce, if not eliminate, crank whip allowing the engine to run smoother and last longer.

Sorry man. My baby's a Zetec and as far as I know there isn't a DMD available for it. Besides, with x-mas coming I don't have an extra dollar it seems.
Why don't you try posting this in one of the more travelled forums (General or Duratec, for example)?

The DMD is a very nice peice of equiptment. I noticed a cleaner revving motor immediately.

What does 85 euros exchange into US dollars? I doubt its a 1:1 exchange rate. I should get one... but then my engine will last longer and I wont get that 3L for a longer time.

The euro is .987 for the dollar so yeah is 1 for 1 exchange in my book. This mean for $100 you get 98.70 euros.
