Strange question, anybody have any 1/4 mile times for a stock Contour V-6 ATX or similar vehicle? Just curious though I'm sure its not near the stick times. Thanks.

Normally I'd say low 17's to high 16's, but with your Tornado more like 13's do to the fact your wallet is considerably lighter...

Well I just ran a 16.319 @ 84.96 in my bone stock 95 LX ATX tonight at Orlando Speedworld. I backed it up with a 16.364 on the next run. Tonight I took out the backseat and ran 2 tenths faster than last Friday. Last week I ran a 16.522 with just the spare removed.

My tires are pretty shitty, so I'm thinking with minor bolt-ons and wheels/tires I should be able to break 15.

All this talk about 17s and stuff is crap. I didn't even run a 17 with the spare, the backseat, and a full tank. I was close though, I ran a 16.9 my first time out.

Eriks00SE if you power brake at the line you should stay out of the 17s.

I also got my first win tonight and it was against a ZX3. I ran a 16.567 to his 17.9xx. There was another ZX3 with a JRSC.

Don't feel bad, the best I got was a whooping 16.017 with my 2.5L. Granted, it had fouled plugs, malfunctioned O2 sensors, clogged cats, etc... But it was still a shame. That's why I'm punishing the 2.5L block by leaving it out on the driveway in the rain and snow.

booooost i dread to think what i would run, i'm hoping to run what would equate to low 18sec in 1/4 mile soon (my track is 1/8th mile) i'm hoping for flat 12sec, if i'm lucky i can break into high 11sec by summer (remember, 1/8th mile).

Thanks Steeda, Demon and Chitown. I was hoping for 12's but... Seriously any of you 3 use one? I didnt buy it for a HP improving mod, I bought it for its efficiency. But I did notice a slight improvement in acceleration as well as my mileage. For 40 bux I already made my money back and then some. To the rest of you, thanks for the replys. I was just curious as to what it would run. I dont plan on racing it since I have a Mustang with just a few things done to it that I race.
