OP sylin Member S Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 76 Toronto, Ontario, Canada	The air bag light on my 97 V6 MTX blinked yesterday after first start in the morning, and keep blinking out some code that counts like "53" until engine was turned off. After that it never lights up again (except self-check at start up)as if nothing had happened. Anyone out there has ever had this? What does "53" imply? Thanks!

JJC Junior Member J Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 18 Massachusetts	I have the same problem. I was told it might be the spring in the column. Faulty of course. I havent done anything about it yet. But thats what i was told about it.
