Hey doe sany one have a exhaust set up on a SVT with straight pipes in the back with a stock cat and stock res. and how loud is it and how good does it sound. Then does anyone have straight pipe in the back with a off road y-pipe and stock res. and how loud is it and how good does it sound. Thanks alot for anybodys help going to get it done in the morning, so thanks alot.

I have a clip of my exhaust without the muffler belt, and also with a shortened belt if yo'd like... Originally posted by My SVT:

Hey i had mine straight pipes in the back with cat and stock y-pipe and it give it a little more rumble but it was not too loud. And now i have added the sho off-road pipe and it has a very nice rumble at idle but as you get own it. It gets real loud and the higher the rpms the higher the pitch gets and the rumble starts to go away, but its not loud until you step on it. Not to much drone when cruising. check my short vids in the registry (ie in my sig). At that time I had SHO Shop Y w/ Cat, 12" straight through muffler in place of a resonator, and nothing out back.

All I know is a 3L with open manifolds and gutted precats is loud enough to make your ears bleed  ...(not literaly).

I may not have the SVT but I have a stright pipe no rez or muffler. Sounds Great never had so many complaments on my exaust. I used to have the rez on the car it wasnt that loud. It sounded good but now it sounds better
