Sometimes in reverse (i already posted something related to this) and when steering wheel to the right, my car makes some bad noise and nearly stalls out. My mom said something like this happened on an escort she once had and it was a problem that needed fixing fairly soon or it would have hurt her car. Any ideas? also, how do i properly check power steering fluid?

To The Top I know my topaz used to do the same thing whether it was going forward or reverse. Anytime I cut the wheels to sharp. Maybe it was just me but it really seemed more noticable when the car was cold.

yes it's more noticeable cold, but i don't have to cut the wheel to extreme right, just probably one or two turns of the wheel. any ideas?
