if u think modding our cars is a waste of money...buying an svt contour is a big waste of money considering the horrible resale value it has. i think a lot of us could vouch for that, right antonio. however, a lot of us plan to keep our cars, make best of what we have, and mod them. i take offense to your comments and how "badass" your car is and could give a whoopy tee doo about the modded guys. just wait til u get stomped by a turboed/sced contour and then youll think twice.

Hey, cut this guy some slack. He's probly just really emotionally unstable and finds being a harda$$ making fun of others brings himself some sort of bizarre pleasure.. lol.. riiight... Just let it go.. Let him be.

That is the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard. It's all about priorities, im sure this infinite method idiot has something that he spends a large amount of his money on. ie. vacations, house, stamp collection.... I would be perfectly happy living in a small apartment in a crappy area and have a ferrari parked outside. I respect stazi and other members with highly modified cars for putting the time and energy into their passion. It takes great self recognition to realize that for many of us, cars take presedence over many other things in life. I live for cars, so why is it ridiculous to spend the largest portion of my money on them??

Do you REALLY think everyone who listens to electronic music does ectasy? Just another typical stereotype... *sigh*
You should really be a politician. I bet you would love to shut down any type of venue where electronic music is being played using two turntables and a mixer.

nicely put. it is all about what an individual enjoys. as an outsider infinatemethod has no idea what it is to be a contour enthusiast. much as i would if i were on a knitting site where i had no clue why some old lady would spend money on good thread. i would just keep my nose out of others passions, not talk bad about them and stick to my own pursuits much like infinatemethod should. peace.

I'd just like to point out that no one has bad mouthed the Beastie Boys. Let's keep it that way. As far as the modding thing goes, I don't have any. I'm also a Junior in college, I don't have any real source of income until the summer, and all that goes to school. But I can be damn sure that in 2-3 years when I have money to burn, it will be burned on my car. I actually plan on keeping the Contour so that I can tinker with it. I'll buy myself a good car, not that the Contour isn't good, but it's getting old. The Contour will be my play car! And frankly I can't wait!
And all Hondas are excluded under my definition of a good car!

No the X thing was supposed to be to be a joke. Calm down...
I actually like that particular genre of music. I enjoy parties and venues that play this type of music. I'm not trying to shut anything down. It was simply playful stereotyping.
Anyways, don't get offended so easily; it can't be healthy.
