I have been driving with my secondaries open for the last week after i broke the little plastic grommets, when i cleaned my LIM, i just got around to buying the parts from ford yesterday and installing them im glad i got my low end power back, but know im having issues around 3000rpm when it kinda feels like im hiting the rev limiter, thats the only way i can descibe it, when it does that it just stomp on the gas and it revs up and goes back to normal. also im having crazy idleing, ive read in other posts that it could be the gaskets(HOW MUCH DO THEY COST?), inever replaced them when i did the cleaning, also could ajusting the seconadry screw to open them up a little more have caused the crazy idling.
i reset the computer and the IAC is band new, and i cheacked all over for a vaccum leak.

The UIM/LIM gaskets are almost the same (lowers have locating pins) and are aprox $11 apiece (4 needed as you know). Mine on my 98 were shot (brittle/stiff/dirty as hell) so I don't know how you re-used yours. A good mechaninc can hook up a vacuum tester and see any fluctuations which would indicate a vacuum leak. I would 1st get the proper gaskets...take your time and reinstall them...and pay special attentiont to your secondery linkages. What you describe with the sticking sounds more like binding than vacuum.

Here's Bill Jenkins info..he can help you.
