OP svttour2002 CEG\'er S Joined: Jul 2002 Posts: 158 Eagle River, Ak.	I have a problem when I get up to high RPM's. The lights on the dash (guages mainly) start to go dim and the charge light flickers when the car hits about 6k. I just replaced the alternator and now I don't know what the problem is. The back is just clips that plug into the back so I wouldn't think that would be the problem. Any advice is greatly appreciated. GregH CEG\'er G Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 216	it is the alternator, but nor the VR. the brushes are getting kicked back by the commutator rings (rough). the fix is the same, replace the alternator.
