Related questions: Is there a drain and a fill plug, or just one plug for both? Also, how does one get the fluid in the MTX? Funnel, pump, simply pouring it in???

EDIT: Nevermind, I read the FAQ and it answered all my questions.

I have a 2000 with 18,500 miles, thought I would freshen up the tranny fluid. I used the Ford syn. at $14.95 a quart without the friction modifier. I drove for a week with some improvement in overall shifting. I then added 2 oz of the friction modifier. Shifts much better than the stock ATF. First to second is alittle knotchy, but not every shift, seems to depend on the rpm's.

Thanks for posting your results about the Ford synthetic MTX fluid with friction modifier. I have always felt that they should work well together, but your the first that I have seen that has tried it and reported the results.

Lance, are you ready to try adding friction modifier to yours yet?
