After my '98 V6 is turned off, the brake boost vacuum fades away. If I'm parked on a slope, it takes quite a push to stay still until the engine starts. It used to take about a half-hour or more to fade, but is gradually reducing to about 5 minutes.
Brake operation while engine is running is terrifc, as always. I haven't yet found what must be a leak. Ideas?

If the hose looks OK on the brake booster, replace the check valve.
