Went to AutoZone today and had this code pulled. What does it mean, how do I fix it and how much will this cost me? Thanks.

According to < http://www.obdii.com/codes.asp>: Ford/Lincoln/Mercury P1506 Idle Air Control Overspeed Error Looks like there's a problem with your IAC.

Okay thanks. I suspected that was the problem since I have the TH fix installed in my car. Yet the car will still idle around 1,200 rpm. So, to fix this do I go buy a new IAC or do I just go through the cleaning process described on this site?

It appears that your IAC valve is failing, maybe you should change it, but first clean it and drive a while to see if the CEL comes back, check the procedure to clean it in the FAQ of the main page, it's very simple

Yes clean it as your first option, also do not forget to reset your PCM, it is very important!,

The TH fix is for hanging revs after shifting. Nothing to do with idle rpm. Also the TH fix can cause you car to stall when the weather gets cold. Some folks even have a winter size & summer size plug. How long have you had the TH fix installed? Have you checked the alignment of the plug? Have you taking it out and tested everything?

It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.

The TH fix has been installed for about 2 months. I have noticed on startups (it's freezing @ night in Utah) that the enigne rpm's fluctuate before stabilizing but the car doesn't die. The stabilizing rpm varies from 750 to 1,250. By the alignment of the plug I not sure what you mean. The plug is as far down as I dare it to go. There aren't any air leaks around the side as well. I have taken the TH fix out and the idle rmp's set higher. When I bought this car used, it would idle at 1,700 to 2,000 rpm. After installing the TH fix it now idles at 1,250 to 750 rpm's. The car just idles at whatever it wants. Thanks for your help everyone. If it weren't for this site I'd be going nuts

According to the Ford TSP (Technical Service Publication), the first thing you should do is check for vacuum leaks:
Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P1506 indicates Self-Test has detected an IAC overspeed error.
Possible causes: -- IAC circuit short to GND. -- IAC assembly stuck open. -- Vacuum leak. -- Damaged IAC assembly. -- Damaged throttle body. -- Damaged PCM.
* Key on, engine running. * With the engine at idle, listen for vacuum leaks. * Inspect the entire inlet air system from the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor to the intake manifold for damage or leaks such as: * Cracked or punctured inlet air tube. * Loose inlet air tube at the air cleaner housing or throttle body. * IAC valve assembly or gasket seal. * Intake manifold assembly or gasket seal. * EGR valve gasket seal. * Vacuum supply connectors and hose. * PCV valve, connectors and hose.

Yes yes, vacuum leaks cause the IAC to hunt around to compensate. Also a leaky EGR valve, or EGR solenoid causing the EGR valve to open some at an idle.

The car just idles at whatever it wants.
If the idle is crazy, I'd bet it is the IAC valve, mine was like that, it idled at 1200rpm or so, it was difficult to keep it stoped, cleaned the IAC valve as described and after a short drive it was solved,
