Ok I need a new transmission, but I have heard people talk about a quaife?? what is that?? Advantages of It??

Can someone please give me info where I can find one, how much it costs, etc.

A quaife is a limited slip differential. I had one installed in my SVT when the tranny went out. Very helpful for autocrossing, or at the very least, minimizing the weak point in our car's trannies. It allows both front wheels to do their job. If one doesn't have traction, you are still able to move (think of My Cousin Vinny). I had my tranny done by Terry Haines (before the meltdown). He was able to supply the LSD for around $500. I've babied the car until now (no more auto-xing for me), but I think the LSD will definitely help come wintertime.
