I have Ground Control & Konis and currently 15" SE wheels for winter.

There's a strange noise coming from the driver side front wheel area. The best way to describe it is it sounds like when you were little and you put a baseball card in the spokes of your wheel to make it go "click-click-click".

The faster I go, the more rpaid the noise gets.
Sometimes is almost sounds scratchy.
Other times it is almost clunky.

The sound goes away as soon as I apply any pressure to the brakes.

Any thoughts? Looks like I'll be under the car within the next couple days...

sounds like it could possibly be loose pads or something else in the caliper loose. If not may be the bearing but since u said it stop when the brakes are applied, this i a remote possiblity but a possibility none the less.

I had a similar problem, but it was in the rear of the car. When I removed the wheel, there was a cable/wire came that had come loose from the strut tower. I believe it was for the ABS and it was rubbing against my tire causing the noise. I taped it with electrical tape and then attached it back to the strut tower using tie wraps, and I haven't had any problems with that since.
