I'll dig around and see if I can find a good spot for a meet. It really depends on how big it ends up, if its one of our typical ones as of late than just about anywhere is fine, but if its as big as some we've seen, then we need to be a bit more selective in locale's to avoid "issues" lol. I'll post whatever I find.

I have been looking for a running one those fore a while. I lmost had one for $600 but it did'nt go threw. The 85 and 86 yeaers had the double wing. They are quite quick and rear wheel drive. Someone near me has one not running sitting in there driveway I have left many notes because no one is ever home. I told them I would make a good offer but they never respond. BAT has just about every part you could want for that car

That engine seems so much bigger in the little Merkur engine compartment. I guess it's because I'm used to workin on my tbird with the same engine, but a engine compartment that will fit a 460 comfortably.

They're great little cars to tinker with...Please tell me you bought a 5-speed! Every C3 I've ever touched was total crap!

Oh yeah and if you want to fix the boost to a lower level really cheap... a yellow wire splice connector in the vacume hose should perfectly allow 15# of boost.

Same engine as SVO Mustang and Turbo Coupes, but not intercooled from the factory. Very easy, though, and plenty of room, to install SVO or TC parts in the engine bay, which is the first step for most tinkerers. Very easy, and relatively cheap, to make these cars wicked fast.

Actual Cosworth body panels and such are getting rare, but there are fiberglass pieces out there.

German sports sedan performance (no really, these things weren't built in KC), for much less than, say, a BMW of the same period, in terms of acquisition and maintenance.

I want one, but there's just no room or budget in my life for a second car.

Oh, since Rara said "170 hp" I'm assuming he has the 5-speed. The ATX cars were detuned to 145 or so because of the weak tranny.

Wow ... $400

When I was a kid, I wanted a Sierra Cossie so bad, this is a nice reminder of that.

Best of luck with the car ...
