that's awesome. there is one sitting in a driveway about 10 miles from my house that i drive by every weekend. i am always intrigued as to its fate. same color, but with the giant double-wing on the back.
i need to find the link to that company in canada that will sell a Cosworth conversion kit for the Merkur.... anyone know what i'm talking about?

it does have some issues, but it does look pretty good.
it has some small rust spots on the body in various places but not bad. I think the rockers are pretty corroded underneath the body cladding though.
Oh, and yeah, I've talked to Aaron a good bit, he even went with me to look at the one I'm gonna pick up tomorrow as a parts car.

Very cool... that's the same 2.3 that came in the Turbo Coupe's, and SVO's right? Is it intercooled like the SVO's and 87-88 TC's? Someday I really want to get an 86 SVO, or if I could find one of those for cheap enough

So what happens when you crank the boosta up on that so you can't drive it in the winter?  Then you buy a ...... for a temporary beater until you have a whole heard of ex-winter beaters turned race machines? I think you got yourself caught in a viscous circle my friend! One I wouldn't mind being caught in myself I might add!
